Rescue of Chinese civilians from extremists, Serpong, Java. Recently a small patrol force of the Royal Netherlands Indies Army rescued many Chinese civilians from murder by Indonesian Extremists. They were brought across the Tjisadane river to the safety of Serpong village, where they were fed and cared for by their rescuers. The rescue patrol crosses the river into extremist-held territory to rescue the Chinese civilians. NI 944
