Pacific War exhibit opens in Paris. Eminent Chinese guests at the opening July 20, 1945 of the documentary exhibition "The War against Japan" at the Ford Building on the Champs Elysees in Paris, were, from left to right: Roland H.D. Liem, Director of the Chinese Ministry of Information in Paris; and Colonel Yeh Nan, Military Attache, Chinese Embassy in Paris. The exhibit was produced by designers of the U.S. Information Service, to acquaint the French public with the vast scale and importance of the campaigns in the Pacific.
